What's Spike's Raygun Madness'?
A short while ago (late 2015), I decided to start an exercise to learn, build and grow my creative, drawing and coloring skills in general. I don't nearly get enough drawing time in, but everytime I do find a chance to pick up and draw, i do get lots of enjoyment and relaxation out of it and I wanted to start sharing some of this stuff with everybody. Basically, I needed a challenge. Psychospike's Raygun Madness is born...
Goal
The goal with Raygun Madness:
- To design and draw a raygun and share it on a weekly basis for the duration of one year.
- To draw more freehand. I will generally be using my trusty Samsung Note Pro.
- Have fun. This isn't a commercial project. It's all good.
- Get creative and get better at it.
Setting
Let's just say it's the summer of 2245, a lot of shit happened between then and now, but the earth survived, weapons manufacterers flourished and people really got stoked about their private or custom weaponry.. giving birth to all kinds of whacky but deadly creations. There even may (or may not) be some kinds of alien gear too!
Basically, in 'PsychoSpike's Raygun Madness' a raygun is a thing you hold in your hand that when triggered, it ejects, hurls, flings or zaps some kind of energy matter, blast, or laser. Yes, I wanted options.
